About Mission Bend United Methodist Church

Mission Bend UMC is a Rainbow of Hope to the greater Mission Bend community. God has blessed us to be a dynamic and growing church attracting a diversity of persons with various cultural and ethnic backgrounds to its membership through its gracious hospitality, passionate worship and faith forming relationships.

We started over twenty-five years ago to reach the people of this community with the message of Christ's hope and love. Today we are a vibrant, exciting place that is touching and changing lives of children, youth and adults every day. God has blessed us and we have grown to a regional church with people attending from Katy, Sugar Land, Richmond and all points in-between. In fact, Mission Bend impacts the entire West Houston area.

Our singular goal is to bring people into a growing relationship with Christ, building them up spiritually, so they can live an exciting life in this world, as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Mission Bend UMC is more than a Sunday only church. Drive by most churches on a weekday and you will see an empty parking lot. Drive by Mission Bend almost anytime and you will see a church that is alive with activity. In addition to the three services on Sunday morning, people gather weekly to participate in small groups, short & long-term Bible Studies and other classes. There are numerous activities, volunteer, mission, and outreach opportunities for you to become active in. We have fellowship events for children, youth and adults, choirs for all ages, a preschool and Christian academy, and much more!

The people of Mission Bend would love to have you become a part of this faith community. It is my hope that you will join us for a few weeks and feel the sense of community that is here.
