Music Ministry
A significant part of the worship and the ministry at Mission Bend is our dynamic music program that touches almost every area of the church.
The Celebration Choir is our adult sanctuary choir and they minister through music in both the 9:40 and 11:00 services. But far beyond that role, they have a special Christmas concert, a
Valentines Day event called Love ‘N Lasagna and a fun fall program, Fall Follies. Their rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary.
The Youth Choir is a great group of youth that sing for and about God. They sing in worship about once a month and participate in special church events. They rehearse during the school year on Sunday afternoons from 3:30 – 5:00 pm in the sanctuary and, during the summer, they meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm in the Choir Warm Up Room (room 103/104).
The Children’s Choirs learn age-appropriate music to sing for church. They rehearse from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm on Sundays in the Educational Building room 222 during the school year and are off during the summer months.
