SERVICE OF PRAYER AND HEALING
You are invited to attend a Service of Prayer and Healing on Wednesday evening, May 14th at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary with Yucca James as the featured speaker. This is a joint service by the Celebration Chorale and Prayer Ministry. It is designed to ask Jesus Christ to bring healing to people in every area of our lives, anywhere you or someone you care about is hurting, whether it be strained relationships, financial problems, addictions, physical, emotional, spiritual, mental or other problem areas. Come expecting to be blessed.
The service itself will be short, with plenty of time for prayer for each person that comes forward. Those who wish will receive anointing with holy oil on your forehead. This is a practice recommended by Scripture and practiced by the Church throughout history. It is a sacramental act which is an outward and visible sign of the healing love of Jesus Christ poured out upon you, covering you, cleansing you from sin, sickness and disease.
If you need a ride, please call the church office, 281.497.4491 by noon on Tuesday, May 13th, and leave your name, address, zip code and telephone number.

The recycling center for paper, cardboard and aluminum cans, which is located near the pavilion, is now open and your contributions are needed.
The money earned by these donations is dedicated to the Mission Bend Christian Academy gardens, which will teach the students how to plan, plant, tend and reap vegetables.
The paper bins are for your discarded papers of all types, including slick paper, newspapers, phone books, junk mail, and cardboard boxes such as cereal, pudding, and jello boxes without the paper inner wrap.
Heavier cardboard boxes may also be flattened and put into the paper container. Your aluminum cans may be bagged and placed between the two paper bins.
Your gifts will soon add up and help the Christian Academy with the expenses of their gardens. If you have any questions, please contact Richard Nussle at telephone number 281.647.0521 or email him at r3toyz@sbcglobal.net .
