PRAYER CAN DO ANYTHING GOD CAN DO

God created the heavens and the earth, and everything that is in them. He created us in His own image, and He wants us to pray to Him.

Not everything that happens on earth is in God's will or plan. In Matthew 6:10 Jesus commands us to pray" ... Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." If God's will were being done on earth as God wants it to be, there would be no reason for Jesus to tell us to pray that God's will be done on earth. Prayer is needed for us to experience God's will on earth.

Here is a Biblical example of answered prayer:  “Solomon prayed…give me wisdom and knowledge…God said to Solomon…wisdom and knowledge will be given you.”  2 Chronicles 1:8,10,12

Believing and praying will result in your receiving whatever you ask for, if it is in God's plan. Sometimes His answer is no, or later, because it is not in His Godly plan. "Jesus replied ... 'If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. ' "Matthew 21.22

God answers my prayers, and He will answer your prayers. 1 pray continually with thanksgiving, and I wait in patient, believing expectation. You can, too. "God answered their prayers, because they trusted in Him. " 1 Chronicles 5 :20 It is as simple and powerful as that. Prayer can do anything God can do.

God is there for you and He wants to hear from you. There are many ways to pray to Him. Prayer is your conversation with God in your own personal way. He is more interested in you talking with Him than in how you do it. It is important that you pray often, with thanksgiving and in the name of Jesus. “…The LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to him.” Deuteronomy 4:7

God not only loves you, He likes you, and He wants to hear from you. Pray, then wait in patient expectation, believing that He will answer. It is written in Proverbs 8:34 "Happy are those who listen to me."

We are given the Lord's Prayer, a perfect prayer model, in Matthew 6:9-13. "Jesus said: 'This, then is how you should pray: Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. ' "
