Greetings Lighthouse Ministry Team Member,
Just a friendly 
reminder to keep praying as you drive in, around and through your neighborhood. Our Lighthouse Ministry continues to add new members and expand into even more areas and neighborhoods. Praise God that each of you that care enough about the area where you live that you are willing to pray for all your neighbors.
Please remember to pray for every house in your neighborhood, including those that
are vacant and especially for those households suffering financial, emotional, physical, or spiritual difficulties and for those hurting as a result of this current economic downturn.
Pray for strong marriages and relationships within each and every household. And pray
for every business in your neighborhood including all their workers and families.
Pray for those families with children, that God would hover over each and every child and keep them safe from harm during these summer months when they have too
much free time without adequate supervision. Pray for the safety of your neighborhood and for those who might be traveling over the next few months. Ask God to place a blanket of protection over all those areas where children play and gather, whether it is in a home, the park or nearby schools and that God keep all negative elements away from your neighborhood. Pray also for those who work diligently to keep your neighborhood safe.
May we all do our part to bring our friends, relatives, neighbors and co-workers into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ and show by example that we are Jesus’ followers and disciples. Ask God what neighbors He wants you to invite to our many church
activities including Sunday worship, and our summer youth and VBS programs.
Please let us know when specific situations occur within your neighborhood that need special prayers by other Lighthouse team members, the MBUMC Prayer Ministry
or our pastors. We will be happy to come individually or as a team to pray with you in your neighborhood.
